Briann Benson Staff Highlight

Briann Benson joined the Office of Medical Education in November as an education administrator. She is originally from Columbus, MS, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi University for Women and is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University.

Previously, Briann was the recruiting coordinator for the College of Education at Mississippi State University, where she fell in love with higher education and wanted to continue her career working with students.

Briann recently got married and moved to the Brandon area. Her favorite restaurant in the area is Amerigo’s. Outside of work, Briann and her husband love to watch movies, specifically anything Marvel. They also enjoy going to MSU sporting events throughout the year and spending time with friends and family. They have a standard poodle named Bella who loves to take walks around the neighborhood.
